01 / Studio

A focused team for games that can ship.

Northweld Games is being formed as a long-term independent development team, starting with a tightly scoped commercial PC title.

Our approach is simple. Define a clear player experience, prove it with a small prototype, build only what strengthens the core loop and release work we can stand behind. Every contributor receives a defined role, visible ownership and written revenue-share terms before production begins.

01

Original work

We create our own systems and assets. Stolen, leaked or unlicensed work has no place here.

02

Controlled scope

We favour a strong, finished experience over a long feature list that never reaches players.

03

Clear ownership

Tasks, expectations, credits and commercial terms are documented before work begins.

06 / FAQ

Before you apply.

Is this a paid position?+

No. The project offers revenue share only. Payment begins only if the released game produces net profit. There is no guaranteed income.

How is revenue share decided?+

Percentages are based on the accepted role, expected workload and responsibility. The terms are agreed in writing before contribution begins.

Do I need professional game industry experience?+

No, but you must show relevant completed work. Personal games, prototypes, GitHub projects, art portfolios and game-jam entries are valid examples.

What is the expected weekly commitment?+

Most contributors should be able to provide six to ten focused hours each week and communicate early when availability changes.

Where does the team work?+

The team is fully remote. Discord supports communication, while Git and a shared task board manage production.
